I have been asking Sedo to trigger me on specific TLDs, but their system had limitation of at least three characters in the keyword, did not allow “.” and the TLD part was excluded anyway.
After insisting, insisting, and insisting, finally got the following recipe, which works quite well:
I’ve been in contact with our project management team and think there is a solution to your query.
In regards to using the keyword watchlist tool to notify you of a particular TLD, it is not currently possible. The tool is designed to monitor domain name keywords, not including the TLD in the keyword search.
A work around solution would be to setup a RSS feed for .XX domain names.
This can be done by the following steps:
- Login to your Sedo account
- Go to the homepage and click on advanced search
- Open up extensions and select .ly and .me TLD’s and click apply
- This will bring up search result of domains will .XX TLD’s
- From the same section you chose the TLD’s, click save search and name the search something.
- Go to the my saved searches tab and click on the RSS icon.
- This will give you the opportunity to use your most convenient RSS viewer to see any changes to this search criteria.
You can play around with the search results and change the date to show domains added in the last 24 hours or similar.
Thank you very much for this!
